Our company is involved in providing corporate services in different areas. Our company is a 29 yrs old established company, with a team size of approximately 700 persons, promoted by experienced professionals & working with number of well-known companies.


The Role will be responsible to support the business teams across categories and regions in the US / International markets. The team member will independently and proactively support POG team in building Planograms by developing a strong category & trade knowledge, proprietary JDA Space Planning tool proficiency and technical expertise.

Deliver Standard and BIC POGs | Build POG's from scratch

- Master and own the POG deliverables in the form of BIC and Version and send quality output in a timely manner

- Upgrade monthly deliverables based on business requirements and facilitate the larger team create functional, high impact efficient POG

- Comprehend the nuances of Category management, trade, merchandising & category strategies and leverage various tools to build real-time POG from scratch and maintain Quality

- Work alongside of peers and inculcate best practices and tackle real time business questions with value adds

- Display a high sense of accountability and presence of mind when completing requests with high visibility or tight turnaround times and communicate effectively

- Find synergies in the projects and apply best practices

- Ability to perform under pressure in complex projects with the team and contribute to brand building

Technical Expertise

- Apply intermediate/advanced level of expertise in JDA Space Planning (Pro Space), Apollo, Spaceman. MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Access, Tableau, Nitro/Demand transfer/Retail link, BeX, BO, ECRM, Feature Vision, Nielsen etc.

- Actively learn & implement principles of trade & category management

- Contribute to building a robust audit system for all POG activity

- Build an awareness of POG automation in the team and POG audit efficient and effective

- Undergo trainings: As recommended and self-initiated refresher trainings to keep abreast of tool dynamics and their functional as well as tactical applications

- Knowledge Sharing: Gain in-depth knowledge of customer details as well as a comprehensive understanding of GMI product groups and DMSP strategies and share new learnings with the team on a continual basis

Continuous Improvement mindset to deliver Executional Excellence, Stakeholder and Project Management

- Ensure TAT is upheld via awareness on process requirements, meeting benchmark time estimates and through articulate expectation settings with the stakeholder

- Guarantee data quality and accuracy through thorough comprehension of request, accurate application of tools/platforms with an eye for detail and a robust data & logic check

- Eliminate Waste, Contribute to the Functional Productivity goals

Project Management: Juggle multiple projects seamlessly, tackling hurdles to timely communication/iterations with peers in high impact completion and presentation

Preferred Major Area of Study: Business Management, Retail Management/Operations, Field Sales, Distributors

Basic Qualification – Graduation

Minimum years of related experience required: 1 years of relevant POG designing (JDA Space Planning), Retail Management and Operations experience in CPG (or related) industry.

Preferred years of related experience: 2 - 3 years of relevant Business Reporting and/or Analytics experience

Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed:

Experience with market data analysis tools is preferred, but not a mandate

  • Attention to detail, ability to complete given tasks with accuracy and knows the features in JDA Space Planning

Brand blocking/Segment Blocking/DOS/Case Pack

Using Highlights and Label

  • Comprehending complex requests & meeting timelines and expectations
  • Strong command over oral and written English
  • MS Office proficiency especially Excel
  • Multitasking ability - work on a host of tools and software’s/platforms (CKB)
  • Organization and Prioritization
  • Collaborate with peers to align with the team’s vision
  • Ability to make optimal placement & assortment related decisions
  • Experience with Planogram building software (ProSpace/ Apollo/Spaceman) is preferred
  • Grocery Retail Concepts is preferred
